NFL: Indianapolis Colts extend long term with Frank Reich and Chris Ballar
The Indianapolis Colts have extended the contracts of Head Coach Frank Reich and Chris Ballard prematurely and in the long term. This was officially confirmed the team.
Both Reich and Ballard signed contract extensions that they should bind to the franchises by 2027. Ballard has been working for the Colts since 2017, rich since 2018.
"In Chris Ballard and France, we have one of the best managerial coach combinations in the NFL. I can not tell you how proud I am that you are committing our franchise," said team owners Jim Irsay. "I believe that this team is pregnant to great things. The reason for this is the culture that has established the two."
In the past three seasons where Ballard and Reich worked together for the colts, the Colts 28 of 48 Regular Season games won and moved twice into the playoffs. In 2018, the Colts won a playoff game.
In the NFL Draft 2018 Ballard chose Quenton Nelson, Darius Leonard, Braden Smith and Nyheim Hines several cornerstones of today's Colts team. Lastly, however, the climb of the team was a little bit up. Carson Wentz should be Indianapolis fourth starting quarterback in four years, but he will fail for the time being due to a foot injury.
