Klara Bühl is missing German women
Team I of the UEFA Female's Euro 2022 certifying competitors consisted of 5 teams: Germany, Ukraine, Republic of Ireland, Greece, and Montenegro. The make-up of the 9 groups in the qualifying team phase was chosen by the draw held on 21 February 2019, 13:30 CET (UTC +1), at the UEFA head office in Nyon, Switzerland. with the teams seeded according to their coefficient position. The group was played in home-and-away round-robin format in between August 2019 and also December 2020. The team victors as well as the three best runners-up among all nine teams (not counting results against the sixth-placed group) qualified directly for the last competition, while the remaining six runners-up breakthrough to the play-offs. On 17 March 2020, all matches were postponed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the DFB announced on Thursday, Bühl said due to an ankle violence for the two games of the DFB team against Bulgaria (18 September) and Serbia (September 21). The 20-year-old ranks in a longer default list, the national trainer Martina Voss-Tecklenburg has to cope with: Also Paulina Krombihl, Leonie Maier, Almuth Schult, Felicitas Smoke, Alexandra Popp, Marina Hegering and Nicole Anyomi are not available.
